RE: Kukuburi Campaign Update

KUKUBURI IS LIVE AND ITS BEEN AN AMAZING FIRST WEEK! 

As mentioned last week KUKUBURI met its funding goal in under 2.5 hours, and the campaign has been growing at a steady pace. It's heartwarming to see old readers coming back to support, while at the same time new readers discovering it for the first time. As backer numbers and pledges grow it helps me realize the sustainability of making KUKUBURI my full-time job and putting out a book a year till the story concludes!

To date, the campaign has crested our $35K (Canadian) Sketch Goal of a Static Cling FREE to all physical backers of the book. The Cling features an image from the story with Nadia, Mr.Bojangles, and Leonard, careening through the Inbetween atop Nug! You dress up your window, laptop, fridge, or wherever your heart desires with this 4" x 5" cling.

To thank all the amazing backers I've instituted some Backer Stretch Goals - meaning once we hit a particular number of backers everyone under that backer number will get a FREE ITEM. So far, the first 500 backers will be getting a KUKUBURI 5" x 7" MINI-PRINT, and should we hit 600 backers they'll all get a complimentary KUKUBURI FOIL EMBOSSED BOOKMARK! 

This is definitely a scenario, where the earlier you get in the more awesome swag you'll get! 

Last but not least, I wanted to share the tier we just dropped today, the KUKUBURI: PREMIUM SKETCH EDITION Hardcover Reward Tier.

This tier includes a KICKSTARTER EXCLUSIVE BOOKPLATE that is SIGNED, STAMPED, & NUMBERED (to the campaign total, demarcating the first 150 books) by Ramón. Also included is the Limited Edition MR. BONES Numbered COLLECTOR COIN. Plus all Stretch Goals and Digital Assets!
